Miss Kerri Sullivan

Owner/ Director

Kerri Sullivan has 20 plus years of teaching experience.  She's been in love with dance since she appeared on stage for the first time at the age of 3.  Miss Kerri has trained in tap, ballet, jazz, and contemporary dance.  In her younger years, Kerri danced in California, winning regional and state competitions.  At the age of 14, she was the dance assistant for adult workshops at U.C. Irvine.  In high school, she was the lead dancer and assistant choreographer in many musicals.  Kerri received multiple dance scholarships, including those from Penrod Arts and Dance Kaleidoscope and was accepted into IU's Contemporary Dance Touring Company as a freshman in college.  When Kerri isn't teaching dance, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Ken and two daughters, Kaiti(24) and Kylie(19).

Owning a dance studio is something that she has always dreamed of doing and is excited to finally make her dream come true.

Miss Kylie Sullivan

Kylie Sullivan has danced since the age of two.  After 17 years of dancing competitively, she has found a love for teaching ballet, lyrical, jazz and contemporary.  In her free time she enjoys playing the ukelele, painting, and drawing.  While she isn't studying or making her own art, she works at ArtMix helping kids with mental and physical disabilities make art.

Miss Jessi Plourde

Jessi Plourde is a 20 year old junior at the University of Indianapolis, majoring in French and Elementary Education, alongside her minors in Music, Special Ed, and Reading. Throughout her years spent at Dance Expressions, Jessi trained in all styles of dance, focusing primarily on tap.

While Jessi taught group classes in ballet and tap, she also choreographed and taught tap solos for dancers ranging in age from 8-15 in her final three years at the studio. She choreographed and competed her own solos in her final two years with Dance Expressions, claiming the title of "Miss NYLA Dance" for both 2015 and 2016. Jessi was also awarded Overall Top Scorer at the same NYLA Dance Competition with her self-choreographed solos both years. Jessi is very excited to begin as a teacher with Impulse Dance Academy!
