Miss Kerri Sullivan

Owner/ Director

Kerri Sullivan has 20 plus years of teaching experience.  She's been in love with dance since she appeared on stage for the first time at the age of 3.  Miss Kerri has trained in tap, ballet, jazz, and contemporary dance.  In her younger years, Kerri danced in California, winning regional and state competitions.  At the age of 14, she was the dance assistant for adult workshops at U.C. Irvine.  In high school, she was the lead dancer and assistant choreographer in many musicals.  Kerri received multiple dance scholarships, including those from Penrod Arts and Dance Kaleidoscope and was accepted into IU's Contemporary Dance Touring Company as a freshman in college.  When Kerri isn't teaching dance, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Ken and two daughters, Kaiti(24) and Kylie(19).

Owning a dance studio is something that she has always dreamed of doing and is excited to finally make her dream come true.

Miss Kylie

Kylie Sullivan has danced since the age of two.  After 17 years of dancing competitively, she has found a love for teaching ballet, lyrical, jazz and contemporary.  In her free time she enjoys playing the ukelele, painting, and drawing.  While she isn't studying or making her own art, she works at ArtMix helping kids with mental and physical disabilities make art.

Miss Kaiti

Kaiti Sullivan began dancing competitively at the age of 7 and has been teaching for 12 years. She grew up learning from her mother, Kerri, who was her instructor for most of her dancing career. Throughout that time Kaiti competed in Indianapolis studios, training extensively in many genres of dance. Currently, she teaches  jazz and contemporary at Impulse. Outside of the dance world Kaiti is a freelance photographer who enjoys photographing portraits, weddings and photojournalism assignments for local and national publications.

Miss Ginger

Ginger Miller began her training at age three, studying tap under Kerri Sullivan. She danced competitively for a myriad of years, eventually transitioning to professional performances with
Gregory Hancock Dance Theatre at age thirteen. Ginger trained under Gregory Hancock for four years, dancing various corps de ballet roles, as well as the principal role of Klara in The Nutcracker and the soloist role of Orphan Girl in Every Grain of Sand. At age fifteen, Ginger moved away from home to attend The Rock School for Dance Education, a prestigious ballet school in Philadelphia. She trained at The Rock School for two years, studying under ballet
legends such as: Bojan and Stephanie Spassoff, Natalya Lushina Zeiger, Telmo Moreira, Jody Anderson, and Justin Allen. She also had the privilege of representing The Rock School at Youth
America Grand Prix, where she danced Henriette Act I, a variation from Raymonda. Throughout her training, Ginger has had the opportunity to attend Bolshoi Ballet Academy’s summer
program in New York City, as well as Dutch Nationale Ballet’s summer program in Amsterdam. At these intensives, she trained under the direction of world-renowned teachers from the Bolshoi
Ballet Academy and the Dutch Nationale Ballet, as well as esteemed guest teachers such as Nanette Glushak and Wayne McGrgeor. Ginger was offered trainee positions with Ballet Met
and Charlotte Ballet, and was admitted to the 2020 Jacob’s Pillow Contemporary summer program. She is so excited to teach and share her love of ballet with students at Impulse Dance

Miss Kelly

Miss Kelly Sellers joined our studio in August of 2019, along with her daughter Ella, and began working at the front desk. She can help you with fundraising, class placement, registration, processing payments, taking your shy dancer in to class for you, providing a parent’s perspective on things, and anything else you might think of! When you see Miss Kelly at the studio please feel free to ask her any question you or your dancer may have; if she doesn’t immediately know the answer she will make sure that she helps get you an answer.

Miss Kelly has a degree in Baking and Pastry Arts along with three (two gold and one silver) state medals in public speaking from scholarship competitions. She works at a construction company, helps lead Girl Scout Troop 1024, and over sees all Franklin Township and Beech Grove Girl Scout troops. During her free time she can be found seeking out new adventures with her husband Adam, daughter Ella, and their adorable doggies!

Miss Kristin

Miss Kristin is one of our first Impulse Dance Academy alumna and is now giving back to the studio by teaching our dancers. She had her first dance recital when she was just 4 years old. For as long as she can remember, she has loved dancing. Kristen danced all the way until she graduated high school in 2019 and was on the Impulse Dance Academy competition team during her senior year. Since high school, Kristen has attended Franklin College to be an elementary school teacher. She has loved getting to continue dancing by teaching at Impulse Dance Academy for the last three years. Miss Kristin is skilled in jazz, tap and lyrical and primarily teaches our Mini Nuggets, Nugget classes and the competitive team.
