While Jessi taught group classes in ballet and tap, she also choreographed and taught tap solos for dancers ranging in age from 8-15 in her final three years at the studio. She choreographed and competed her own solos in her final two years with Dance Expressions, claiming the title of "Miss NYLA Dance" for both 2015 and 2016. Jessi was also awarded Overall Top Scorer at the same NYLA Dance Competition with their self-choreographed solos both years. Outside of teaching dance, Jessi is a Middle School English Teacher at the International School of Indiana.
